This is the 23rd #W2DTogether drawing challenge! This series is all about escaping the blank page by providing a clear theme to spark your creativity. Whether you’re a regular or just joining us, welcome to the community!

The Challenge

Challenge number 23: Fantasy

Sometimes the best way to grow creatively is to escape reality for a little while. This week’s challenge is wide open: Step into a fantasy world and draw anything related to it!

Think about the fantasy movies you’ve watched, the books you’ve read, the games you’ve played, or the unique worlds you imagine in your head.

Need some inspiration? Here are some ideas to explore:

Creatures: Dragons, Goblins, Griffins, or Mermaids.
Characters: Wizards, Elves, Sorceresses, or Time Travelers.
Settings: Magical forests, Floating islands, Crystal caves, or Enchanted castles.
Objects: Portals to other worlds, Magical weapons, or Shadow creatures.

You don’t have to copy anything existing; feel free to reinterpret a classic or invent your own unique creature and universe. The goal is simply to let your imagination lead.

How to Approach It

Mix and Match: Try combining two elements that don’t usually go together, like a “Talking Animal” who is also a “Wizard.”
Focus on Atmosphere: Use your drawing to show the magic of the setting. Is it a dark, spooky enchanted forest or a bright, glowing crystal cave?
Character Design: If you’re drawing a character, think about what their clothing or accessories tell us about their world.

The Rules

Must be YOUR drawing.
Medium: Drawings only (pencil, pen, colored pencils, markers, or digital). No paintings.
No AI art.
Requirement: Share one drawing that represents a fantasy theme.
All skill levels welcome.
