Here is the 22nd #W2DTogether drawing challenge! This weekly series is designed to help you beat art block, find drawing ideas fast, and keep you drawing consistently.

The Challenge

Challenge number 22: Artistic Name

I wanted this week’s challenge to be something fun, but also useful. It’s a chance to take a step back and think about how you see yourself as an artist. Your task is to create an artistic name for yourself and turn it into a drawing.

It doesn’t have to be your real name, and it doesn’t have to be serious or final. It can be:

• A word you like

• A nickname

• A completely made-up name

• Something symbolic

• A name that just “feels” right

The Creative Goal: Draw that name in a visual way. It can look like a logo, a symbol, stylized lettering, or even something more expressive and abstract. The goal isn’t perfect branding—it’s about exploring how a name can transform into an image.

How to Approach It

• Style Your Letters: If you’re using text, think about the font. Is it sharp and jagged? Soft and flowing? Thick and bold?

• Incorporate Symbols: Can you hide a small drawing within the letters that represents what you love to draw?

• Color Psychology: Choose colors that match the “vibe” of your artistic persona.

The Rules

• Must be YOUR drawing.

• Medium: Drawings only (pencil, pen, colored pencils, markers, or digital). No paintings.

• No AI art.

• Requirement: Share one drawing that visually represents your chosen artistic name.

• All skill levels welcome.
